AWS Legal opened the Wanaka office in 2004 to cater for our burgeoning client base, coupled with the growing demand for specialist, "on-the-ground" legal support, particularly in the property and commercial sectors.

As with the firm's other southern offices, Wanaka was founded on the AWS Legal ethos of commitment and service, with the flexibility to cater specifically to our local clients' needs.

Headed by Resident Partner Janice Hughes, the Wanaka team's expertise centres largely on property, commercial and rural law, as well as asset protection.
